Fredericksburg Region July meeting minutes

Our treasurer Tiffany Simmons, took a job at VCU and will resign from her local position 9/2025. We will need to find a replacement for her treasurer position since she will be living and working in Richmond. Cherie will check with her employer, and finding no barrier to accepting the treasurer position, will work with Tiffany to get the bank accounts rolled over and Cherie trained. The treasurer is responsible for a quarterly statement to the VCNP regarding the status of our account, writes checks to cover for our philanthropy projects or other donations, and occasionally cashes checks coming from the VCNP.

Ashley Cremisio arranged a legislative meeting with Delegate Paul Milde and Delegate Scott which was held at her primary care practice over a lunch hour. Active discussions were much appreciated!

Our leadership encourages those who qualify to obtain autonomous practice designation.

8/23/25 is our annual Night of 1000 Pies to support local Empowerhouse, which supports victims of domestic violence and abuse.

Next meetings will feature speakers on Migraine management, Vasomotor symptoms and perimenopause, GLP1 management.
