MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY PARTICIPATING

The I Am Woman 5K 2022 race is working with the Centra Foundation to raise funds for the parents and children in our community. This ensures we can partner with our families and help them to live their best lives.
Funds raised have helped secure specialized newborn and pediatric equipment such as fetal monitors, radiant Panda warmers and Omni beds for the Intensive Care Nursery. This equipment allows us to keep children in our community!

100% of funds raised through your participation and donations stays here in Lynchburg and makes it possible for us to save the lives of our tiniest population!!

ENTRY CAP:
This event is limited to the first 325 entries (in person & virtual)

PACKET PICK-UP: 
Friday, October 28th, Riverside Runners, 2480 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503. 12-6pm.
Saturday, October 29th (RACE DAY), Alan B. Pearson Cancer Center, 1701 Thomson Drive, Lynchburg, VA  24501, 7-7:30am

HAVE YOUR PACKET MAILED TO YOU.
We are pleased to offer USPS Priority Shipping, for an additional fee of $10.00, to those unable to pickup their packet at our packet pickup and/or live outside of our area. The deadline for this option is October 18th.

5K “IN PERSON”  REGISTRATION:
$25 || Individual ||  8/1 – 9/15
$30 || Individual || 9/16 – 10/27
$35 || Individual || 10/28 – 10/29

VIRTUAL 5K REGISTRATION:
$25 || Individual ||  8/1 – 10/30

FAMILY PRICING (Parents and Children Only):
Available for 3-5 family members (Parents and Children Only). Register with this option and save $5.00 per registration. This option expires 10/27.

T-Shirts
Moisture wicking shirts up to size 2XL. Deadline for guaranteed t-shirt is 10/1. We will order extra. They will be available on a first come basis at packet pickup.

AWARDS & FINISHER MEDALS

All finishers receive a custom finisher medal!

Awards will be given to our Race Champion, Top 3 Master Finishers, and top 3 in each age group.

COSTUME CONTEST
It’s Halloween weekend….let’s celebrate. Costumes are encouraged. As a matter of fact, it’s become quite the tradition.  We will give special prizes for the very best costumes.

VIRTUAL RESULTS:
1.  COMPLETE YOUR 5K,  Friday October 28th – Sunday October 30th
2.  UPLOAD YOUR RESULTS via the RunSignUp website or text them.
3.  RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL AND T-SHIRT!

Participants will have the ability to report their result, for their event, directly to our RunSignUp Results page or by text message.
