The Southwest region includes: Lee County, Scott County, Wise County, Dickenson County, Buchanon County, Russell County, Washington County, Grayson County, Smyth County, Wythe County, Bland County, Tazewell County and the cities located within those counties.

Meetings
Sponsored educational meetings are held quarterly in Abingdon, Virginia. Usual meeting months are March, May, September and November. Please RSVP to any of the officers if you need information on a meeting or plan to attend. Our meetings are usually very informal with networking, followed by a brief business meeting and educational program.
Our current goals include:
- increasing awareness of the NP role
- promoting communication among the NP's in our rural area
- increasing our membership and staying politically active
Our next meeting is scheduled for November 10, 2007 at the Troutdale in Bristol VA. The lunch and presentation will be sponsored by Abbott.
