VCNP Blue Ridge Region

The Blue Ridge region includes: Botetourt County, Craig County, Roanoke County, Franklin County, Floyd County, Carroll County, Pulaski County, Montgomery County, Giles County and the cities located in those counties.

Meetings

Blue Ridge Region meetings are held on the second Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November. We receive 1.2 CEUs for our meetings.

You may be aware that November 11-17 is National Week of the NP. With the encouragement of Carol Via, the Blue Ridge VCNP Region President, I have arranged for Radford City Council to recognize NPs with a proclamation during the November 13 Council meeting.

Unfortunately, this is also the date of our membership meeting in Roanoke. I encourage you to attend the membership meeting, but for those who can not make that meeting, please come to Radford City Council chambers at 7:30 to be recognized. The proclamation will be read soon after the meeting begins and I will then ask any NPs present to stand and be recognized.

Also - we will celebrating our local Founding NPs during our January meeting. Please send me the names of those NPS who paved the way for the rest of us!
